Human Rights

The UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS was adopted by the UN General Assembly on 10th December 1948, following the Second World War.
Since then various organisations and institutions worldwide have been working hard to ensure that as many people on the planet have their rights protected and upheld.
UNICEF adopted the CRC around 25 years ago in order to ensure that as many children across the globe as possible have a good quality of life. Take a look at the story so far HERE.

ORGANISATIONS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

Amnesty International work tirelessly throughout the globe to help preserve and uphold the human rights of people. A recent blog of theirs discusses rights-based films that you can watch. Also, you can take a course from Amnesty International on Freedom of Expression HERE.

Check out the National Archives for a historical perspective on Human Rights.
