Lifelines

Lifelines

I don’t know what I want to know but I know I can breathe for the first time.
It’s a matter of fact, I know I lack the implausible bond that comes from this knowing.
I believe in the future that the past and the present has chosen.
It’s a matter of opinion that I still believe that there’s time.

I don’t know what I want to know but I know now I breathe for the last time.
It’s a matter of fact, I know I lack the implausible bond that comes from all-knowing.
I can shift my composure and surrender my needs now I’m older.
There’s a paradigm shifting that I can perceive.

Now it’s time for us to get higher. Yet I do not know if I believe it, but I will in time.
In this life, yeah we’ll be all right – just as long as there’s Lifelines.

I don’t know what I want to know but I know I now breathe for the last time.
It is matter of fact, I know I lack the implausible bond that comes from a knowing.
I commit to a lifestyle, a creed and a brand of submission.
There’s a paradox somewhere that I will believe.

Now it’s time for us to get higher. Yet I do not know if I can see it, but I will in time.
In this life, yeah we’ll be all right – just as long as there’s Lifelines.

Take a lyre, and sing it so wide.
Stoke the fire, and burn it so bright.
In this life, yeah we’ll be alright!

Just as long as there’s Lifelines for us.
